Career Day UPDATE!

Baines Middle School 8th Grade Career Day is Friday, January 25th; it is a special day for our 8th graders.

Please consider giving a few hours of your time to help make Baines Middle School Career Day a huge success.

Our committee has been working hard for months to prepare for this event.  We invite all parents to help make this a successful Career Day for our 8th graders.

We need volunteers to help set up after school on Thursday, January 24th, in addition to event day volunteers on January 25th. All volunteers must complete a FBISD Criminal History check.  If you haven’t filled out a background check for the 2018-2019 school year, you can do so here: 4fefcdd4f389&RenderLoc=0&FlexDataID=96556&PageID=730.

Please remind your 8th grader that they will be meeting with professionals from our community and need to dress in “professional attire”. This professional attire must be within dress code and comfortable shoes are a must.

Be aware the 8th graders will be on a modified schedule this day, so please try to avoid your child arriving late or picking up your child early.  Also, if your 8th grader brings their lunch to school, we have asked them to bring a completely disposable lunch which they will carry until lunchtime.

Thank you for your help making Career Day successful for your child. We are looking forward to an educational and rewarding Career Day.
