Online Driver Education Parent Information Night

Thursday, September 25th 6:00-7:00pm.  – Online Driver Education Parent Information Night The Fort Bend Education Foundation is sponsoring a Driver Education parent night on Thursday, September 25th, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Fort Bend ISD Administration Building-Board Room. Representatives will provide detailed information about the courses and answer all questions. Course information can also be found at

The Fort Bend Education Foundation/ Barnes & Noble Bookfair Event

The Fort Bend Education Foundation, in conjunction with Barnes & Noble, is pleased to announce a special event featuring local children’s author Geraldo Loivio.  This event will take place on Thursday, September 18th at 9:30am at the Barnes & Noble located at First Colony Mall in Sugar Land.  Middle School and High School required reading books will be available for purchase.
Barnes & Noble will be hosting a bookfair supporting the Fort Bend Education Foundation in both the Sugar Land store and online starting Wednesday September 17, 2014 through Sunday, September 21, 2014.   Mention FBEF or present this flyer prior to making your purchase in the store for a percentage of the net sale to be contributed to the Fort Bend Education Foundation.  See flyer for online order instructions.

We thank her for volunteering so many hours in our school library.

The beginning of the school year is such a busy time for the library, with so many new children who need extra help, along with the book fair in addition to the regular daily business.

Ms. Brown, the rest of the staff, and our children are very grateful for your time and help!


Care to Chat: Caring for Kids On and Off the Playing Field

Fort Bend ISD is partnering with Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital to present Care to Chat, a free parent advice and information mini conference.

Care to Chat is an adults-only speaker series filled with helpful advice and information for teachers, parents and caretakers of all ages.

The event takes place on Tuesday, September 23, 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Fort Bend ISD Administration Annex Main Auditorium, located at 3119 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, 77479.  Come early to enjoy complimentary appetizers. The first 30 people will receive a free flu shot. All attendees will receive a free first aid kit.

The event is free and for adults only, but registration is required.  Please register by calling 713.222.CARE (2273).
